Active Control of Submerged Systems by Moving Mass

In this study, the active vibration control of a rectangular plate submerged in water was investigated. Mass dampers were attached to plate, and system modeled via assumed mode. Water is as an inviscid fluid with moving boundaries at fluid–solid interaction surfaces applied forces on being calculated by Bernoulli equation. The natural frequencies vacuum (for partial fully cases) found from numerical calculations are compared experimental results prove accuracy model. Subsequently, for frequency computations, particular chosen damping them. To actively plate’s mass static stable methods, displacement data some points used input. First, increase target mode low-frequency, negative acceleration feedback algorithm modal-space applied. Then, decentralized method examined. Both methods successful suppressing plate.
